Silly Money!I see John Terry is now on £135,000 per week at Chelsea. Is this the beginning of the end for proffesional football?

It is silly money.
But when you consider that if they were to break a leg it could end there career.
There football life ends on what 45 they still have to live .
there money what they do get do have to come down.
the sad think is that the cost is coming down to the fans.
im a man u supporter and for the three of us to go you are looking at 110 pounds which is one hell of a expensive game of footbal.

well i love footie especially the villa(wages are more normal at the villa), but the wages are just stupid, i know it could be a short career, but anyone in any walk of life could have a short career nothing is guaranteed, if they had to quit they could get a real job like me

Who is stupid though the player or the club?
My view its the club for paying it, if all clubs stuck together you wouldnt have these huge salaries although its not just football I have heard of actors asking a million or more to do just one film.

No, we're in a better league, full of proper players and good Englis-style football with proper loud fans, and nothing against Chelsea but they don't have that, nor do a lot of big Premiership sides.
