We should have an immigration policy similar to that of New Zealand or Australia. I would love to emigrate to Australia. A 5 bed house with half an acre and a swimming pool for £90,000. Cant get a one bed flat in calne for that.

We should close the borders immediately and let no one else onto the already overcrowded island unless they have skills which we desparately need or cannot train people already here to do.

The uk is fit to burst.We have far to many culture's here.
It is wrong that they are able to have free nhs.college education,housing,benifits which we pay for.
Only the goverment can stop this.Remember this at the next elections and choose carefully who you vote for.

When i split from my ex, i had to wait 3 weeks to have my claim looked at because i had kids, (it was only 3 weeks till xmas aswell) so my claim had no chance untill the new year...... at the same time some people from another country moved into a council house along the road from me, new house, money on a plate, and guess what a NEW car to top it all off with. so this is why i paid tax for!!

I split from my ex-wife on august 8th 2006. I finally got benefits on 13th november.

Unfortunately there is only one party who would put a stop to it and because they are considered 'racist' they have as much chance of getting in as I do of winning the lottery and no one will vote for them because they are not PC, the BNP

we have a lot of wide open green spaces, a lot of fields, a lot of countryside, it can be built on, and a lot of abandoned houses up north...

I beleive I am correct in saying that there is only one country in the world with a denser population than the U.K. and that is Japan so whilst it may seem that we have plenty of green land to build on we really havent got that much and anyway personally I would like to keep as much of this "Green and Pleasant Land" that way if possible. We are STFC is correct in saying that there are some empty properties in this country and it is only right that these are used to accommodate British families who are on the waiting list. However the main problem with an ever increasing population is the pressure this puts on our infrastructure. We know the NHS is struggling to meet current demand and more people will inevitably mean more transport so the roads will be more and more congested also schools will have to meet ever increasing numbers of pupils with the added difficulty that more and more of the students will not hve English as a mother tongue along with the prisons being fit to burst with the present population level and I could go on but I hope you get my point.
