seems friendly -----NOTTTWhen we do get new members on here it would be nice if more members welcome them on to the boards.it dosnt look very good when only two people welcome them.this is ment to be a friendly forum yet it dosnt look that way,
noteven the mods bothered with the last few. 
come on guys show you care

my vote is that we get rid of the welcome new members section on here cos no one does it.

For me, I never participate in welcome new members threads in any forums that I am in: more a personal thing raher than any unfriendliness.
What does seem to work is more a 'introduce yourself' thread that is kept always running where new people add in to say 'Hi' and members can comment to it as they feel like it.

I try to welcome new members who post articles but don't bother until then. There is, on many forums, a lot of new members joining but never post anything so it all becomes a bit pointless.
