School is becoming a jokewe had a letter sent home saying the class were doing cooking.
they wanted 50 p donation which is fine then i read on......
they will be cooking pizza.
they supply the base and the tomato paste.
but could the parents supp;y the toppings the child want.
right ok i thought.
read a little further
do to the number of children cooking we will be unable to cook your pizza please bring a sutible container to take it home in.
i have to ask what is the bloody point.

Thats not teaching children to cook  maybe the teachers cant or dont cook either it seems to me that cooking will be a thing of the past soon, as already children dont know where veg comes from

thats the problem with kids these day they should be taught where food comes from and the process how it gets to you,
includeing all meat.
we grow quite a bit of veg and my son loves it .
especially when it comes to eating it :lol:

Its the same when they get to Bentley, they have to take the ingredients already prepared at home, put it together in school, then bring it home to cook! Half the time it was stuff we dont eat, :evil: so in the end Ape dropped out of the subject.
She watches me cook and she can make a better cake than i can now

My niece who is ten could bake sponges at the age of eight.she is a little wizz of a chef and can do better sponges than her mum. :lol:
