Yes I would. Because it was probably already listed as being dispensed by the bank, the customer that withdrew it would habve been held liable and would have lost the money - £750 disappearing is likely to be pretty traumatic for most people and I'd not like to take advantage of that.
Indeed, in the original article, the person handing in the money should have had a receipt - what if the bank had said she'd only handed in £700 and the customer said that it was £750? They'd have come looking to her for the missing money! |

in all honesty im not sure .i think if i did hand that amont in i would at least have liked a thankyou.
i have left money at a cash point before i admit it wasnt 750 .could anyone draw out that amount of money and forget about it? |
