Local lass

red lion lacock

in all honesty i would not go there again eiter.there were 4 of us .
two had fish and chips ,which to be fair came out very nice.1 had a veg lasange and one had a filliet of sea bass.
there also seems no room for manners either .
we selected of the specials board one had asked for a chicken curry and was told we havnt got any,not im sorry we seem to have run out of that.they also had no side dishes  either like onion rings or garic bread.
the sea bass accorrding to the board came with chips and salad with a creamy dill sauce it arrived with 3 boiled potatos when poointed out that the board said it came with chips oh that was a mistake and we had to ask for chips we were not offered dispite what the board had said.
the sea bass was mine and the suace ws lovely.the sea bass its self was dissapointing although nicy cooked it had no taste
not even of fish.
for pudding it was hot brownie in a fudge sauce and vanilla ice cream.which was very nice.
the red lion is a wadworths pub i would say its rater expensive there was a 8oz sirlion steak on the menu for 15 quid
the red lion is a very homely pub but would have to say the cost reflects the location of the place and not the food.
daffy
