I'm sorry Top Dog I appear to be turning into your number one whinger.
Can you please have a look at the area under the Avatar space?
It proudly, but totally erroneously, advises that I am originally from Heddington.
I notice there is a similar heading under Peter Dolman but as I am not he, I cannot advise as to whether this is correct.

The new ranks have been carried out so that every village and hamlet around the Calne area can be incorporated somewhere on this forum. As people make more posts then more ranks will appear. There are a few jokey ones that only last for one post so you may have to keep your eyes peeled for those. :D

Have to say, don't find "inbred and proud of it" in good taste. OK I accept that my sense of humour may be different to others. What do others think?

The Comments change to the amount of posts you make.None are ment to be offensive just in good humour.
What was tryed to be done was every village and place in calne were included in the comments.
They change quite often.
The particular one in question ,i will get admin to remove .

I apologise if this rank has offended you. The rank "inbred and proud of it" only becomes active when on post number 333 and is changed just one post later to "Born and bred local". I will amend the offending post.

as someone who was not aware of "ranking" it comes as a surprise that the somewhat unusal descriptions are actually proscibed.
Can we not have our own phrase that does actually relate to individuals.

You can have your own personal statement by going into your profile and writing and editing as you like. :thumbr:

The section you refer to, Attrebates is called the "signature", which as you describe can be found in in Profile at the top of the page. Most people, like Attrebates. have a witty quote or a personal statement.
he rankings are just a bit of fun really. As previously described, they change when you make a certain amount of posts and they have a Calne theme to them.
