Children in need.

Do you support it?
Do you watch it?
have you ever raised money for it?
Should terry Wogan be paid the £9.000 a hour?

I go out for the evening.just to avoid it.

There is no way on earth that I am donating any money to this cause when the bloke hosting the event is getting £9000! His agent said that the £9000 wasn't a fee but a "nominal honourarium". It's disgusting that the bloke has the front to ask people to donate when he is pocketing a rather large cheque.

Quite agree GTB it shouldn't be aloud and hes Irish so technically an immigrant.

there are quite a few products on the market at the moment where money automatically gos to children in need.
one charity they do support is make a wish foundation where the children with terminaly ill can make a wish and the charity pays for it.but insted of giving money to children in need i would sooner just give the money direct to the chartity i choose.that way my money isnt spend on terry.
WeAreSTFC

there are better charities

I have always said that there are so many charities that it would be impossible to support all of them and therefore I tend to support "my" charities which are the RNLI, because I was in the navy and appreciate that these guys go out to sea in conditions when any sane man would be heading in the opposite direction, and the heart foundation because being morbidly obese it could well be considered an investment for the future. I know that sounds a bit mercenary but I only have limited funds for charity and would not see the sense in spreading it to thinly.
