It has already been admitted by two people, one an old geezer who uses a stick and a bit of string with a couple of rods and a long tape to measure the circles and angles and all that lot.
If you head to Alton Barnes, more specifically Barge Inn at Honey Street, you can chat with the bloke in Summer.
There are far weirder and stranger things afoot than crap circles ..

I remember the fan fare in 1990 when the really big ones started to appear around the Pewsey area. Even Led Zeppellin had the Alton Barnes one on their album cover.
