MPs move to let scientists use hybrid embryosIs this right? It makes me feel all weird inside just thinking about it. I don't even think it is legal to have sex with an animal (or am I wrong on that one??) but they are allowing someone somewhere to mix up human and animals into living hybrid organisms. That is messed up.
Urgh.

Bestiality has been illegal in this country for a very long time but in some states of America it is actually legal to marry animals - some bloke in the southern states married his horse. :shock:
I think on a lot of this research on genetics we are distorting nature to a very unethical set of values. How long before somebody has cloned a hybrid human with animal DNA? Most countries are now doing research in DNA and who's to say it hasn't already happened?
