Life changing experiencesI have had, courtesy of HM Forces, some experiences that have made me re-examine my outlook on life. Travel broadens the mind but watching the ordinary people of a supposedly glamourous city made me realise how fortunate we are in the UK.
We do not have 4 & 5 year olds and Grandmas in their 80's trying to sell anything and everything to tourists to make a couple of bucks. I will draw a veil over what the 12 - 40 year olds were trying to sell but they were not doing this by their own choice or I suspect making very much money at it as their "agents", armed with weapons of all sorts, had most of it.
Yes, there is a lot to be said for living in Calne. AND I still think that I have led a reatively sheltered life.
