Last friday

i walked home about 1130pm on northstreet  i came across two lads who were walking along the road mostly in the middle .one had great dfficulty in walking where he was absoulty rat faced ,he could hardly talk and was all over the place.
the other explained they had just came from a pub in town.
when i used toi work at the talbot as i understood it a pub is not aloud to serve anyone who appears drunk,or anyone who is buying a drink for a drunk.no unless that law has changed i wanna know just how did he get so drunk
there was a case in america a few years back where a bloke went to a bar and got bladdered he fell of a stool and ended up in a whell chair the guy succesfully sued the pub .for serving him.

say that kid fell over through no fualt of his own apart from being drunk who would be at fualt?

Maybe he thought he was OK and seemed OK in the pub, but it was only after walkngi fora while in the fresh air that it really hit him how drunk he was?

The rule still applies, but as most bar staff now are youngsters themselves they dont have the guts to refuse the drunk or there friends.

Only last year when i worked in the bear in devizes i refused an older lady as she had already had to much, she was most upset, lol but the fact still remained she was drunk, so i refused to serve her any more.
