Kill it,cook it ,eat itis back on our screens the first ones where red deer and the second wa duck.
nine volunteers went to a scottish estate where they shot the deer and the duck then they were taught how to get it from being dead to being ready to eat then they eat it.
i would have no problems with the eating and skining/plucking.the only problem i thing i would have have is the killing it its self.
how would you guys do would you be able to do all three?

I have done it on many occasions. I was invited on a deer stalk at the weekend where I shot two roe deer. They are now hanging ready to be skinned and butchered.
Some may find the scenes rather gratuitous on the programme but at least they know now what happens between the transition of the animal being in the fields and onto your plate.

- wouldnt have a problem with it. I'm hoping this year to get hold of some pheasants to breed, mainly for eating purposes!
(chances are I would probably keep more than I eat though!)

I've skinned and butchered about half a dozen deer, dozens of pheasant, duck, geese, pigeon, turkeys, woodcock, etc. I also carry out a bit of pest control on rabbits so I tend to get my hands dirty on over a hundred of those each year because they all go to a farm shop.
I was shown at a young age how to pick and draw pheasants and to paunch and skin rabbits. I've started my kids of young as well by letting one of my 5 year old sons pick a pheasant - he did the breast and legs but he didn't have the strength for the other feathers but he had a good try.
