Is Terry Butcher right ?Terry Butcher, currently Scotland Assistant-manager, has said that he will refuse to shake the hand of God tonight after Scotlands match with Argentina. The hand of God being thaat of Diego Maradona of infamously scored with his hand against England in the 1986 World Cup Quarter Final in Mexico. Is he right or should he let sleeping dogs lie ?

It may be twenty two years ago but this so-called footballing great has never admitted to cheating by punching the ball into the net. I wouldn't hold it against Terry Butcher if he didn't shake his hand.
But did he go through with it?
ps. Why have the Scottish got such a chip on their shoulder to worship a fat, drug addled, cheating bloke like Maradonna just because he scored against England? It looks rather pathetic (and laughable!) that the Scot's favourite footballer is in fact a foreigner.
