Second.
I failed the first one after some guy ran out of shoestrings and onto the crossing while I was going over it. I should of expected that apparently.

1st time ...... but i was 8 months pregnant at the time :lol:

Of course nowadays you have to take a written test as well so are any of you out there young enough to have done this

mine was first time with one of the lowest scores ever for my instructer.

No. I had the clipboard outside the test center.
Passed second time with one minor.
Written test were brought in after 1996 I believe.

they have also brought in a 3rd test a maintance test now as well.

is that the bit where they ask you how you check your oil and how to check your lights are working etc
