I know what it is like
This is the first holiday we have had abroad since 2003 - we went to Butlins a few years ago, the hi-light of which was when my youngest son projectile vomited across an adventure playground - I did what any parent would do; grabbed him and ran as fast as I could!

We are off down to the lovely English county of Cornwall to stay at a friends beach house near Helston for a couple of weeks. I can't be arsed to go abroad any more because it's too much hassle with two days of travelling to go anywhere.

Like GTB we are off to a chalet in the sand dunes in Cornwall this October , Its a bit late in the year but work is manic at the moment .
Never been abroad for a holiday, I will start going abroad when ive seen all this wonderful country.

cycling in Brittany for 2 weeks during August, staying in a gite (will sleep 4) which is costing £320 per week. Thats considerably less than a static caravan in this country.
Good food, great wine and normally better weather than Devon or Cornwall.

I'm off to Kos tomorrow - I have had my spray on tan applied in Tantastic this morning.......I look as though I have fallen face first into a cow pat!! Hopefully it will look better after I have had a shower!

Just had 2 weeks near Dunster in a rather nice (family) caravan, we had one of the best holidays we have had for years and the tan is just awome lol.
