Hello,

used to live in Calne between 12 and 19, then moved to London with work, but still come back on a regular basis as my parents and sisters stayed put.

Arrived 1983 left in 1990, but there at aleast once a month. used to live in Quemerford, opposite Blacklands junction. didnt go to Bentley, as I was already at a different school in Devon :wink:

Worked for a few employers in Calne and got sacked 13 times in my first year at age 16, fantastic achievement. Then worked at the Basset Baker for Simon Waugh, words fail to describe what a class act this guy was, when people resigned he blanked them, when using him for a reference after 2 years employment, he then said he's never heard of me. Sadly his firm went bust shortly afterwards. Such a shame. Evil Mind

ironic that the once place I didnt get fired from in Calne, the tosser who ran it then denied my existence. Bit dumb really as then mentioned it to the Tax man. Sent my dad up in a microlight for his 70th last year up at Yatesbury, had a few goes myself as well. Big Smile

Found Calne to be an interesting place, although pretty rough as well, Harris was still up when I moved into town and a few gangs were about like the GJ's and some local lads who liked heavy metal stuff. Each to their own :shock:

Find Yatesbury a fascinating place, I have seen photo's of rows of Biplanes lined up ready for action, might send a link if ya'll hassle me enough.

Good place if your a biker, and its fair to say I am.
