No matter how good the dog is supposed to be it still has its wild side. Dogs can be startled by babies and children.
I believe the Staffie was called Tyson - I sincerely hope the dog was not expected to live up to its name. |

it said in one article i read that the grandmother got the staffie fo ra guard dog to protect her against a stalker.
staffies do make loyal family dogs.and are great with there own family.the baby was not the dog family. |

NO dog can be 100% trusted with any child!
Ive said this before and i'll say it again............ Its not the dogs fault, its the stupidity of the owner 
As you all know i have 5 dogs, but when my grandchildren/visitors come around, the dogs get put into there own room. for there safety as much as anyones, they are not used to small children and could easily mistake playing for something else and try and join in! |

We used to have staffies and they are great dogs; but some people simply don't understand that you can never ever totally trust any animal around children - just in case. |
