GunsThe seems to be a spate 0f teenagers misusing guns at present .
where i live one of my nighbours saw some kids with a bb gun and some one i know has had a summer house shot .three times with a air rifle.
the latter was reported to the police who didnt want to know.

All air guns owners should be made to apply for a licence before owning one which should keep it out of the hands of the idiots. People have died as the result of being shot with an air rifle. They are not toys! :evil:

The control of air rifle ownership in this country is so lax that it's no wonder there is incidents like the one reported above. I own an air rifle and can quite legally store it in a wardrobe or garden shed with no need of locking the gun up, instead I have opted to store mine in a locked gun safe along side a rifle and a shotgun (I have both a shotgun and fire arm certificates). I would welcome tighter gun controls on air rifle ownership in this country because there is too many idiots out there happy to take potshots at people when they get there hands on them.
