Fynamore Secondary Modern

I know it closed some time ago and physically no longer exsists but the Fynamore was a larger school than the bentley in terms of pupils. Why therefore is there little or no mention of it on this site, shame.

There must be many old pupils (I know a few) and teachers (I know a few of them as well) still about.

Fynamore was a much better school than the stuck up bentley (no resentment there) full up of those who "passed" their 11+.

Lessons included gardening and all the vegetables/fruit produced went to the school kitchens, a process which some schools are looking to bring back.

As an ex John Bentley Grammar School attendee and an ex inmate of Strangeways I find it hard to consider myself stuck up

Hey, I too went to the Fynamore, Dudes. It was a great school. The guys were tough, the chicks even tougher. Yeah, man you got it all at the Fynamore. Teachers on choppers. Lesbien teachers. Teachers that liked to hit children with canes. Hey if I could prove it I could sue 'em
