fleas

what do you use on your animals for fleas
i dont care who you are all animals will have fleas i think oz has a allergy to them as he  has a couple of scabs .i must admit i am a bit late with his frountline.
what do you guys ind that works i hate the price of frount line and wonder if there is a cheaper alternitive.

Ive only ever used frontline, i think its one of those time where you get what you pay for.  Although i do find the spray works better than the droplet things but it is a bit more expensive but then again it does last longer and comes in different size bottles.

Also if you have noticed any flees it may be worth getting the stuff to put in your carpets aswell, not much point in de-fleeing the dog if they are already in the carpet (why do you think ive got wooden floors   )

Hope that helps.....good luck

i use frontline aswell, i dont like the price either but as frontline works, i would rather pay for it as it keeps the fleas away!
i dont know any other alternative which are good becuase like the shampoo's just get rid of them, they dont stop them fromt getting them again!

Damn fleas are everywhere this year. Was just a couple of weeks late with the frontline on our cats. It has sorted the cats but spray on the carpet does not seem to work. I agree frontline is very good as long as you keep up the treatments all year on the right dates.

I couldn't see anything that would kill fleas in the ingredient list in Bob Martins treatment. However it does contain Organophosphates which is used as a crop spray! Which could very well irate you animals skin, and cause more problems than it's worth.

Frontline is available from pharmacists, it contains fipronil which is very safe and kills fleas for up to 8 weeks after application. Do both dogs. Leave 48h without bathing before and after applying frontline, it needs the oils in the coat to spread out. Bath as much as you want thereafter.

Try Petmeds for your flea treatment in future.

Organophosphates are used in sheep dip and now you have to be licenced to buy the stuff!!
Deadly to invertebrates.
