Flag on way to Hilmarton???

When you go from the Oxford Road roundabout to Hilmarton, there is a farm on the left with a green and white flag, but it isn't the Wiltshire flag.

Anyone else seen it and know what it is?

It is green and white stripes with a red dragon in the corner, but I was driving and couldn't take a photo

It sounds like it could be a Welsh county flag. Every county in England now has a unique flag dedicated to it and I would expect Wales is no different.

stranger things has happened even a small place like that could get its own flag.did you know devizes is on about getting its own currency?

I had a quick look on Google, Pimp and I can't find anything as yet to solve your mystery.

Yes that is the one

I take it that the dragon is in fact a wyvern.

Interestingly I found this web site which agrees that this is in fact the Wiltshire flag.  Is it a conspiracy to change the Wiltshire flag ?

Like many other counties of England, Wiltshire did not have its own flag, until 05/06/07, when the new flag was accepted and raised at County Hall in Trowbridge.

Wikipedia also seems to acknowledge the flag in my signature.

I saw this acrticle a while ago, it 's a guy who designed another flag for wiltshire and it's much more symbolic for our county.

It's worth a read.

The other (fake) wiltshire flag being flown near hilmarton does seem vaguely familiar .... i do remember a design like that from my childhood, being on the Dunstan school sign.
