First Swallow of the year...........Another member from a forum that I frequent has just stated that he has spotted Swallows over the English Channel whilst sea fishing. Has anybody on here seen one yet?

I saw about 50 last sunday on the coast in Somerset on the same day I saw a red Kite

It's been a lovely day today with lovely clear skies this afternoon but still no Swallows to be spotted in my part of Wiltshire.
I did see a Peregrine last week for the first time in a long time.

I used to do a lot of birdwatching at John Bentley with the chemistry teacher Ed Smith (1970s) went all over the country in the school bus. Great times.
