Do you like science fiction?I love the Star Trek shows (Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager and Enterprise) - apart from the wooden early stuff from the 1960's. It's pure escapism. :)

Sadly some of the science fiction I read as a boy is now science fact part of getting older I suppose but your right it is pure escapism and I love it too

Sci-fi can be brilliant. Iain M Banks is my favourite author of sci-fi - just finished reading 'Matter', which is far from one of his best.
Was given half a dozen Far Scape videos last year with three or four episodes on each. Love that to bits. Agree with the escapism. Light and fluffy and 'full' of 'meaningful' inference and all.. LOL.

I used to watch Farscape. Did anyone watch the original series of Battlestar Gallactica?

I have to say that Dr Who is better now than it ever was, with better stories and better actors in it. Of course the graphics are bound to be better with the advent of CGI.
