David Beckham has never made himself out to be a footballing god, the television pundits and tabloid newspapers created that myth. He is a very good businessman who is milking the market while he is still at the top of his game. Those who don't like him are mainly jealous of the wealth he has accumalated over the last ten years or so - approx. £100m.

I have never had a problem whith his wealth or anything like that i certainly would not like his life where you have to worry each time your kids are out of site or wonder if the people who you meet like you for you or what you are.
whilst david was at men u he did get to big for his boots and fergie did the right thing like fergie said .no body is bigger than footbal.
