Have you been in Corsham's caves? I think they were created by mining the local stone.

Related to my hobby, I will be going away tomorrow for 8 days of underground exploration. Expect lots of photo's when I get back.
Plus I posted this so I could get to 100 posts before I go. I got a feeling Kizzy will be overtaking me while I have gone.

Underground is usually a constant 14 to 18 degrees. so it cool in the summer and lovely and warm in the winter. It may get cold on the surface, as i am yet to go to wales and not see rain. :(
