Daffys sugar pastry:lol: it always tasts better when you make your own ,its mince pie making this weekend ,last year i made 7 dozen .My daughter and me had a little production line going ,i dont do short crust :clock: pastry i make mine with suger pastry YUM\.

:violent2: for suger pastry you need
# 1 egg
2oz (50g) suger
5 oz (125g )marg or butter
8oz (200g)flour
method
cream egg and suger add marg mix for a few seconds gradually add flour ,
or the way i do it bung all ingredients into a food procceser mix well , take out and put dough into a ball ,if its too sticky add a bit of flour , putin refridgerator to rest for at least 10 mins , it makes it easier to roll out .

have finaly made my mince pies ,i have beaten last years record of 7 dozen this year my daughter and i have done 12 half dozen .They freeze really well . so any visitors we have over xmas wont go hungry .
