How can someone just walk off the street into the libral and walk out with 4.500 grand??

I used to work in the club, all money went straight into the safe, only the steward had the key unless the top bar staff were in when he was out, i dont understand how someone could have got to that amount of money without someone seeing them. Unless it was money from the office not the safe. Dave was always very careful with the money. | ||

according to the gazette today it was taken from a bag in the office.
the guy who did it was only in the clup for less than a minute. he must of known what he was looking for .he went in took the handbag and left. :? |

you have to admit it does sound very suss.the guy is in the club for less than two minutes .he knows exactley where the office is.i have been going there for a couple of years and i dont even know where the office is. | ||

The office isnt usually open in the evenings, however it is during the day when the office staff are working. Its in the pool room, i feel so sorry for maxine, she is a great lady and very good at her job. | ||

YOu must admit though kathy that a guy who walks directly off the street goes in a club gos to the office takes a bag what happens to contain 4 and a half grand. and walks out again is extreamly iffy.

Yeah i do agree, some thing isnt right. However i think its unfair to blame just one person, everyone that goes into the club should either be a member or signed in by a member. That comes down to the bar staff to make sure they follow the rules. |

kathy i wasnt blaming a percific person.i dont know them down there well anough to do that.
what i was mearly suggesting is some one down there knows a lot more than what he or she is letting on. my guess is it was a insurance job i noticed in the paper some one say that the insurance is willing to pay out. :wink: |

I spoke to Maxine today, told he about this site so hopefully she will join us. Even she said its sus, no one seems to know the man, so how did he know where the office was, or even that money would be there, as they have only just changed there banking day. The problem is, do you really know your drinking partners? And as with any club theres always bitching.
As for membership, it is down to the staff to check you are a member BEFORE they serve you. |

It does sound very suss ,some bloke just walks off the street ,inside job perhaps ? somone who we know and trusted used to collect money for club members ,went on a spending spree with it (not the lib club ) christmas is coming up ,bills to pay who knows what lenths someone goes to when short of cash ??? | ||
