Cigarettes and theftAfter reading the posts made in the Calnetalk section regarding criminal activity it got me thinking (no jokes there please!  ). You often hear of people who steal to feed their drug habit of cocaine and heroin, etc but have you ever heard of a case where someone has stolen something to specifically pay for their addiction to cigarettes? We've all heard about how hard it is to give up despite the money that the Government throws at the addicts.

no, i haven't!
-but, having said that, being technical (quite a rarity!), people who buy duty free/knock off baccy and cigarettes are stealing from the tax man! (is that such a bad thing?) - most smokers have been or are guilty of that one at some point!
