Chippenham Christmas LightsI see the local council were out yesterday putting up the lights ready from Christmas.  Every year it seems to get earlier and earlier and in the not too distant future I'm sure they'll leave them up all year round.

wpnder if calne will have the crap display of blue and white for 300 yards again this year?
to be fair to chippenham they do some very nice lights emery gate is always nice.and they certainly know how to do a light switch on.
is calne doing a latern parade this year.

Chippenham light switch on should be this month ,they do a fab fire work display .  the town centre is always packed out that night ,the town council do a really good job !well done

last year i had a stinking cold when it was chippenhams light swith on and as its near my birthday ,my sister decided to take me out.on the night in question i had totaly lost my voice .what a nice sister she was she wouldnt even order for me in the resturant bitch  revenge is sweet though.

the christmas light switch on has been advertised for some time and will include the lantern display, ice skating rink and lots more.
there has been several notices of lantern making workshops and the schools have also been notified.
I am surprised that anyone living in the town could not have known about the event.
