Calne Leisure centre help needed.

Calne Leisure centre is in need of volunteers to help in the last stages of it's transformation.

Theres still alot of work to do to bring it alive and volunteers are more than welcome to come to the centre weeknights from 6.30pm or sunday mornings from 9.30am.

The new gym is being installed, the new reception area's looking great as is the bar and new cafe........ see you all there soon.

it'll be vandalised as soon as it opens, it's in proximity to the school, which is basically a hooligan nest.

Can you blame the kids of Calne for rebelling at the moment, they have nothing constructive to do, so they make there own games up !.

They have no sports centre, they have no sports clubs , they are wanting to express there physical side, so make do with what they have.

Give them the opportunity to do something physically constructive and they'll grab it with open hands.

Not an excuse for vandalism however, which is what the centre suffered after it closed.

Come on guys lets not argue about what might or might not happen to the centre lets just make the most of it being there and remember it would only take one person to vandalise the Leisure Centre but its going to take a lot more than that to keep it open so lets support it the best way we can
Local lass

I'm gonna go down in the New Year to see if they do swimming classes for our 4 year old. And for me too (I can swim already - but haven't been for a while).

Octopush anyone?
