i like the bridge centre at christmas it always looks nice. |

I think the brifge centre looks awful, it's a real eye sore !
It needs a real feature building there welcoming all into the centre of Chippenham. But hey ....... it'll be a clock tower for sure ...with the words ..... "Tesco" emblazened underneath !.. Mark my words ! |

I like Tesco's. They are always cheap. Besides, this is a Calne forum. This is in Chippenham and as a Chippenham resident I want a Tesco's.

Your getting a tesco's anyway , as Somerfield has just sold up there store to them !
The store in Emery gate has a covenant over the bath road/bridge centre site and whoever owns the emerygate store has the right to choose what goes on the bridge centre/bath road site, so i'm guessing tescos have taken over emery gate with the future plan to develope the bridge centre ...... so Tesco it'll be !. |
