Animals - of all shapes and sizesModerators - pehaps we could have a section on the forum for animals? - wasn't sure where to put this one, so it's here! lol
1. Pigeons (yes, here we go again!)
I have a "stray" pigeon, my late afther in law said was called a "blue bar". Just wondering if anyone on the forum has or knows of one that is missing? - I haven't been able to catch her to check the rings on it yet, but she has had two chicks already in my shed!
2. A "common", or as I like to call them, "a strand pigeon" has managed to get frisky with my white flock, and as a consequence I have a lot of mainly white (with some grey feathers) for sale if anyone is interested.
3. If anyone has any unwanted birds, message me as we have plenty of room available for them. (19' square avairy, pigeon shed is 12'x8', and other outbuildings). If we cant take them in permanently ourselves, chances are we can find someone who will.
4. I am still on the look out for a male common collared pheasant, as the hen that was rescued a few years ago is now on her own (aged around 4-5 yrs). Our golden pheasant cock bird died fairly recently, at a grand age of about 20.
-that will do for now, so can we have an animal section on the forum? (please)
