Taken on July 1st. The smallest one died today, so Kathy is hand rearing the two smallest survivors, and the largest is remaining with the parent birds. Will post some more pics as they grow...

The grey one died last night (hasn't been right for a couple of days), but the white one is still doing well. The remaining one in the nest box is also doing well. Just need the weather to cool down a bit.

The baby cockatiel that remained in the aviary has done extremely well, flying and feeding itself, and almost the size of an adult.
The hand reared white one on the other hand, is ok, only feeds itself if it really has to, currently can only fly about a foot (lazy), likes his porridge/chick feed mix (but gets it every where!), and is constantly whistling to get let out of its cage because it now craves human company. Will post some more photos of before and after its bath (yes, it gets bathed cos its a messy sod!)
First time i have had anything to do with hand rearing, and if i had realised that it would of been more troublesome than having kids................
