Having attended a meeting in Wootton Bassett relating to the travellers site that are propsed in that area please note the following:
A petition will only count as one vote!!! ( this is from the councils mouths)
If people want to object they must individually object by letter, this must not be a generic letter of these will get counted as one vote too.
We have four and a bit weeks to lodge our objections, please encourage people to write a small letter, the points must be valid such as environmental issues, not I don't want travllers near me, it is also useful to comment that calne schools are currently at their limit where will teh travellers children be placed?
I hope this helps your campaign. I send this to all that hve signed the petition as I saw the on at Tescos store.
