YES! There is a small shop next to the Oxford Road Garage, opposite the Liberal Club, which did a brilliant job if putting a zip into a pair of tailored shorts for me. reasonable price as well.

I can sew, knit very badly, though I had no time nor inclination to attack a trouser zip.
I've sewn leather, plastic, carpets, furniture as well as many types of cloth. I can also cook in many languages...

It's something that has been forced on me (lol) - I do a lot of sewing and stuff as a hobby - and I can make basic costumes for the re-enactment we do and I can also make outfits from patterns.
But I have soooooooooooooooo many crafty hobbies, I end up with a lot of half finished projects

thats good to know .i didnt realise that they do that.i want some trousers taking upso will give it a go .
