What's your biggest achievement, this is the place to tell us what the best thing you have done in your life, so far is.

For me ....... Well the best, most terrifying but most exzillerating thing was that i delivered my baby daughter myself.

After a 40 minute labour (first birth was 3 days), my wife said it might be happening ........ and boy was it !!!!.

The paramedics arrived to cut the cord took my wife away in the ambulance and i was left with this tiny bundle of fluff whom, i took to the hospital in the car, as the ambulance had to way of carrying a baby !!!!!.

So midwife crisis ....... there most definately is , we never saw one until we got to the hospital !

Chepfer: I saw the title a couple of days ago and thought of what was the single biggest in my own life.

One of the main things which kept recurring was the day I delivered my son, although very different from your own experience, was also a very major point.  He was my third son and fourth child but the first I delivered.  I even cut the cord and handed him, still manky with slime and blood and all, straight to his mum.

[Also very high up my list of major events is the day my first son was born as a life changing moment (also my other two, one born overlooking a valley in Spring and the other who was born by caesarian section which I attended), although these were not my doing, I was merely an onlooker.]

Another major event was managing to have a tax bill for £7,000 squashed.  It was this year and I got a final letter/tax demand which showed a zero outstanding at the bottom.  WoW!
