Hi all thanks for the welcome. I live back in Calne after a long time abroad. I'm 38 married with three children we take quite a bit of interest in Calne It seem that being away from Calne made it more precious to me. I'm very interested in the history of Calne especially ancient history but still have not been to the heritage center Embarassed .

Hi Sam and welcome to the site. The heritage centres worth a trip and loads of info on the town, though if you want to delve right back the Wiltshire museam in Devizes is fantastic and has an amazing library !

If you ever wanted to chat some more about Calne and it's history ..... well ... i too am very intersted in it !
