If you have been in a shop in Calne and was pleased with the service reccomend it.
Or if you have been in a shop and had bad service let us know.
The shops must be local.

I Have to say The Joy Balti House is very good for takeaways indeed...  and its neither expensive.

If your looking for a further afield then i suggest oriental aroma on station hill in chippenham, their fod and service is second to none and the Jewel in the Crown in Old Town Swindon still holds for me personally the best meal out i have ever had, it was that good!

Last night 07.03.09 i went into the White Heart in Ford and i can tell you now, not only was the service abysmal, the food was appauling and the price was extremely high, £14.50 for a 8oz sirloin steak.. says it all and it was soo chewey and leathery i thought i had been given an beef wellington with a hint of sarcasim!

If i was you people i would stay well clear, thats unless if your into wasteing your money and looking for a fight

tesco express is so much better than one stop.theres a guy who works in tesco called richard who is always polite, and helpfull no matter what time you are in there.one stop is drab ,dreay and the staff couldnt give a stuff at least in tesco when the ques are big they try and reduce them in one stop the staff normally just keep chatting.

where is the joy balti in town?is that on wood street.

I believe it is the restaurant across the road from the bookies in Wood Street where if you eat in you have to bring your own wine because they dont have a licence
