I noticed they were not working on Sunday. They were not working last night either. It's quite dangerous without the lights especially if you are coming out of the road from Church Street.

I thought the whole system worked far better with the exception of pedestrians aspect.
Coming out of a side road on to a main road just takes a little caution and patience.
The present system works well for pedestrians. Otherwise they would need 360 degree vision, good hearing, olympic 100 mtrs speed and a quick prayer that the 'boy racers' are not out playing with their toys.
So on that point alone YES, Thank heaven the lights are back. |

| The problem is if you were coming out of church street and turning right it was a sod to get out on top the road as people would not stop and just fly past the junction. |
