Went there last night .
Had a excellent starter which was  duck pancakes. Big Smile
someone also had a prawn cocktail  which was served in a sunday glass ,which was filled up with lettuce then on top was a tablespoon of prawns. Roll eyes
two of us then had steak which both was over cooked. Evil Mind
two others had the fish and chips, the fish was massive and quite tasty.unfortunatley the fish last night had hell of a lot of bones in . Evil Mind
The onions rings were like rubber they were cold and tasted like they had been cooked in dirty oil. Evil Mind
for five of us the bill was £57.00 . Roll eyes
If i was travelling and am hungry then i would prob go there again but i certainly would not if it was for a occassion.
i would sooner go to somewhere, where there is quality over quantity.

the big question is......

DID YOU COMPLAIN at the time???

I certainly would have done! Might have got a reduction off the bill too.

So you would not recommend this place then?? These sorts of places are pretty awful for food in my opinion - the stack the plate high in low quality food brigade. Wasn't there a programme a while back which detailed places like the hungry horse for using Asian Ox instead of British beef because it was less than half the price?
