The Bluebell woods (West woods) are already flourishing. You can go there on the orgainised weekends for a fee. Or go just go anytime you want.

The woods look amazing already, beech tree's with stunning green leaves coming out and a carpet of bluebells for literally miles and miles, which make your head spin with the scent as you walk around !.

Truely worth a walk for an afternoon. There are picnic tables there too if you fancy it !

Drive along the A4 past Silbury hill, another 5 miles and there is a turning on the right to Clatford. Take this turning and follow the road. Straight over the crossroads and then about another mile your there.

West woods is a forestry commision site which is open all year round and is free to park and wander........
