Gorden ramsey caused outrage with eating horse on one of his programmes. But whats wrong with it.
There are horses being bred in the uk stricktly for meat abroad.
but would there ever be a market here for them.

'Why don't we eat horse?
becuase people see it rather as a pet or working animal rather than meat.
as for duck there isnt enough meat on a duck agree that it is a lovely bit of meat .very fatty though. _________________

We don't eat horse, but we also don't eat cat. dog, tiger, lion, bear, whale, seal, I could go on and list the majority of animals in existence that we don't eat but other countries do.
We don't eat squirrel, but they do in Redneck America, we don't eat rat, but they do in some places in Africa
Also it is not against the law to produce or eat horse meat in the UK - it's just as a nation we do not embrace the idea.
I feel we have a large enough selection of meat in this country with out having to introduce anymore. _________________ aut viam inveniam aut faciam! |

| I used to eat horse in Holland in soup until i found out what it was, bleugh! I know its daft but I just couldn't bring myself to eat it when I knew what it was. Smoked horse meat is a normal sandwich filler over there |

I've got no problems with eating horse as long as it's well treated during its life. _________________
