Anybody interested in "real nappies"?
Varying from terry towelling squares to fully fitted shaped terry nappies with adjustable sizing, and funky leopardskin wraps!
We are agents for twinkle twinkle www.twinkleontheweb.co.uk and can arrange "nappy parties" or home visits to demonstrate the range available.
We have used them for our children, from birth to potty training.
It takes 10 minutes extra every 3 days to chuck them in the washing machine, and hang them out, and are not the "rubber pants" version with pins yor parents used to use in the 60s! And you don't have to soak them either! Just keep them in a nappy bucket with tight fitting lid.

There is a lot to be said for terry towelling nappies over the despicable disposable stuff (with a rot factor of over 2000 years! Imagine, if Mary had used disposable nappies for Jesus, the left over rubbish would still be rotting today!)
I have no small kiddies Steve, but two of my nieces are pregnant so I am kind of interested in more details. I am guessing this aint a service where the nappies are swapped by someone collecting them, as a mate of mine in Bath used 10 years ago? What kind of prices are we talking for a couple of dozen and what grade towelling is it?
Just to back you up here, it wasn't only the 1960s when terry squares were used with pins. As recently as late 1980s this was being used in the UK, though less so. _________________ Democracy is dead. |

Hello Geddi,
You do indeed buy the nappies and wraps, and wash and dry them yourself.
We use Motherease One Size, which is what most people we have dealt with end up buying.
You can get 15 nappies and 4 wraps for £142.50 with free bucket and other bits and bobs. You can also add to it, with more nappies. We had 24 nappies and 5 wraps, but at present (10 month old) it takes 4-5 days to use them all up.

Pass on my phone number if they are interested in finding out more.
