Does anybody have any information on Ambrose Cleverly who lived in Calne, Wiltshire in the 1770's? He was married to Mary Ruddle in 1777 and had quite a few children but I have never been able to track down his ancestral family roots. I believe he was a stonemason by trade.
Here is some of my early tree (along with a few that aren't) on the Cleverly side:
This starts with Ambrose but there were Cleverlys in Calne, Wiltshire, for a hundred years before he was born. I'd really like to know which of the three families in the town at the time of his birth he belonged to.
