Calne has a great angling club. fFor details contact T.K Tackle on london Road and Speak to Jackie knowler.
The club has rights to fish many miles of the river Marden, which is a great Barbel, chub,carp, Pike and tench river as well as all the smaller fish.
Parts of the river are under fished and these sections produce some stunning specimin samples.
The club also have rights to a large section of the river avon at Christian malford and hopefully in the future hold rights to Spye park lake, which under new owners is reviewing the contract.
