This Fantastic book is the 3rd in the Saxon series. The Saxon Stories tell the tale of Alfred the Great and his descendants through the eyes of Uhtred, an English boy born into the aristocracy of ninth-century Northumbria, captured by the Danes and taught the Viking ways.

If you like English history and especially the Vikings and Saxon periods then this tell the story of Britain in a Factual way through a fictual story.
